The popularity graph of the Controversial Khan (read Salman Khan) has some of the highest peaks ( curtsey his road rampage, black buck case and his infamous phone calls to Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai) but they do not make him the most famous bollywood actor. Sharukh Khan wins this battle too with his higher and more consistent popularity graph. Hrithik Roshan’s and Akshay Kumar’s graphs did surprise me a bit as I was expecting them to give some real competition to the Khans.

Battale Royale – Sharukh Khan Vs Amitabh Bachchan

Tough competition here, but Sharukh seems to be the more popular actor here. I don’t understand why Mr. Bachchan’s graph is shown to be starting from early 2004. I mean he has been in the Industry for so long, but his graph seems to look like some one who’s career began in 2004.

Sharukh Khan Vs Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik seems to be the toughest competition that Sharukh has ever faced, at least here. Their graph’s are almost equal but since late 2006 Hrithik seems to have taken a lead over Sharukh Khan. I think the Super Hero thing and Dhoom-2 have made Hrithik Roshan very popular among the kids and the younger generation and that explains why he has surfaced as the most popular Indian actor.
